YKF Investments Group was founded in 2015 as an investment office for the Fung Family. It is currently managed by members of the second and third generations.
The firm provides advice and investment services to meet the family’s needs with a broad range of both alternative and traditional asset classes.

The Family Office is named after Mr. Fung Yiu King, who in 1937 founded and grew a small money-changing business into one of Hong Kong’s largest family-owned banks.
The Family Office was established in 2015 to manage the Fung Family’s assets through investment discipline and active management.

Established in 1979 by Mr. Fung Yiu King, the Charitable Foundation focuses on supporting healthcare and education developments in Hong Kong.
Over the decades, beneficiaries include the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Fung Yiu King Hospital, The Hong Kong Society for the Aged (SAGE), The Church of Christ in China Fung Leung Kit Memorial Secondary School, and the Hong Kong Chinese Women’s Club Fung Yiu King Memorial Secondary School.
The Foundation continues Mr. Fung Yiu King’s legacy by championing causes of mission aligned giving, with strong involvement from members of the Fung Family.

Dennis Fung
CFO and CIO
With over 20 years of experience in Finance, Dennis oversees investments across all asset classes for the firm. He also leads all public equity and fixed income investing. He was previously a portfolio manager at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income Division. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Barnabas Charitable Service Association, a Christian NGO supporting drug rehabilitation. Dennis holds a master’s degree in aerospace engineering.

Dr. Patrick Fung
CEO and Advisor
Dr. Patrick Fung serves as CEO and Advisor, leveraging his 50+ year operating and investing experience in finance. He served as Director, CEO and Chairman of Wing Hang Bank Limited, then after acquisition OCBC Wing Hang for over three decades. In addition to YKF, he also serves as an Honorary Member of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Chairman of the Finance Committee, and member of the Board of Governors, at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. Dr. Fung holds an MBA and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Toronto.

Elliot Fung
Senior Portfolio Manager
Elliot leads the firm’s private equity investment activities across funds and direct co-investments. Prior to joining, he worked as an investment associate at C.M. Capital Advisors, a Palo Alto based family office where he focused on sourcing, investing and monitoring its private equity and co-investment portfolio. He also previously held roles as a consultant at KPMG. Elliot holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Nicholas Fung
Governor of YKF Charitable Foundation
Nicholas manages and oversees all aspects of the Fung Yiu King Charitable Foundation. He is a Director of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, a Committee Member of Fung Yiu King Evergreen College of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, and an Executive Committee Member of Joyful (Mental Health) Foundation. Prior, he held roles at OCBC Bank in Hong Kong. Nicholas holds a BA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
